To my unseen friends and distant observers,
You may have noticed my absence from the digital echoes of social media, a realm from which I've temporarily receded due to the engulfing demands of my reality. My silence stems not from a deliberate choice to break our connection but from the sheer busyness that life demands.
The mundane aspect of financial sustainability has, indeed, been a significant factor. My coffers are not self-replenishing. The nature of my existence and the maintenance of my knowledge and skills require that I occasionally venture forth from the seclusion of Blytmoast Estate to offer my services to those who seek them.
Recently, I found myself entangled with the Central Nomistic Administration. The nature of this engagement, I must confess, is not something I can fully disclose. The CNA deals in laws and regulations that transcend our mundane understanding of justice. They are the arbiters of truths so profound and terrifying that even to whisper them is to risk madness. Thus, I shall write no more about the activities that have occupied me over these last few weeks.
The experiences gained and the trials faced have further deepened my understanding of the world's hidden facets, enhancing my capacity to navigate the complex tapestry of our existence.
Having returned to my studies at the Blytmoast, I am finishing up my analysis of my last short story post to see how I may improve my writing. I’ve also finished the first draft of the next chapter of Foredoom’s Fugue. I think I have come up with a clever way to tell the story using first and third-person narratives, a challenge I set for myself several months ago. I look forward to sharing my creations again.
Until our next encounter,
Jordan Gravewyck
